Not just one photo today | The Jordan Hospital Club Polar Plunge

a photo a day

march 5th, 2011

I recently joined the board of The Jordan Hospital Club and today was the 9th Annual Polar Plunge. Today was a remarkable day and I was so proud to be a part of it. My part was easy – I photographed the plungers. These people who raised over $100,000 in honor of loved ones, in memory of family and friends no longer with them, in thanks for hearing the words – cancer free and for some to just make a difference.

Nella raised $1100 and her team “The Freeze Pops” collectively raised $5500. Nine children in grades 4th – 6th. WOW!

These are just a few of the images, the rest will follow in the coming week and will be available for a complimentary download.

Thank you for a fabulous day plungers!

Thanks for capturing all of the festivities! We were helping with the parking and did not get to the beach. Great shots!

I really relate to the penultimate picture. That kid looks so satisfyingly cold, you have to admire his spirit.
